Labor Day has come and gone, unfortunately signalling the unofficial end of Summer. With this season change in your head, you’re likely starting to think about Fall fashions, and maybe even getting your closet ready to reflect the change! This blog post is all about the top three must have fall prints!
The Top Three Must Have Fall Prints
1. Leopard Print
Various animal prints have had their time in the limelight over the years, but leopard print seems to be one of those timeless prints that’s always in fashion. Leopard print can be intimidating for some, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. In all honesty, the only leopard print item I personally own is a pair of flats! They’re super fun and I get complimented on them often. In fact, I’m wearing them as I type this! I have on a black embroidered tank top and basic skinny jeans. The leopard print flats add a little pizzazz to an otherwise basic outfit!
The leopard print vest seen above is from White House Black Market. It’s a very thin puffer vest with a darling flat ruffle down the middle. It has front pockets and even comes with a bag to roll it up into when not in use! How cool is that?! I styled it with a black blouse from Prabal Garung for Target, Citizens of Humanity jeans, and black strappy Calvin Klein heels.
Plaid is a print that always seems to find its way into stores this time of year, but maybe even more so the last couple seasons. This year is no different! Plaid tops, plaid coats, plaid scarves, plaid everything. For this particular outfit I styled a plaid button-down shirt with an olive green puffer vest, AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans, and fringe booties.
3. Fall Floral Prints
Floral prints have also been very on-trend during recent back-to-back seasons, which makes it easier to transition them into your current wardrobe. Have a favorite floral print tank top or summer dress? No prob! Just add a solid cardigan or a denim jacket and you’re all set!
A lot like leopard print and plaid, floral prints come in about any style/item you can imagine. Dresses, tops, sweaters, even handbags, shoes, and scarves! Find something that you love and makes you feel good and add it in!
