Hello, ladies! Who doesn’t love getting a little outfit inspiration from Pinterest?! I love going to Pinterest at the change of the seasons and see what’s being pinned. You can easily find some seriously amazing outfits on Pinterest! For this post I’ve taken five popular fashion pins and recreated them with items I have for sale here in New Dawn Boutique. Enter: Pinspiration – Popular Fashion Pins Recreated!
Popular Fashion Pins Recreated: Black & White Striped Tank & Utility Jacket
This first outfit from Pinterest has been saved 36.8 thousand times, and I can see why! I absolutely love this fun outfit! The black and white striped tank is so chic with the olive green utility jacket, which is super on-trend. Add the distressed skinnies and you have an extremely casual-chic #ootd! This will be the perfect outfit for Fall!
The black and white tank that I chose for my version of the outfit is tunic-length, so it’s a little longer than the one in the original. The jeans are a little darker, too, but the jacket is very similar! Since I don’t have any booties for sale right now, I thought the studded flats would look really cute with the outfit.

Popular Fashion Pins Recreated: Long Open Cardigan
The second popular pin that I chose to recreate has been repinned over 106 thousand times. Wow! Such a chic outfit! I love how simple it is, yet so fashionable. Long open cardigans are set to be a huge trend again this year, so here’s a good outfit to copy for the upcoming Fall and Winter seasons!
Again, distressed skinny jeans are making an appearance. This time, with a plain white t-shirt and a long open cardigan. The cardigan I used for my re-make is angled and long in the front, just not as long as the original. For the tee I substituted a fun henley tee from H&M.

Popular Fashion Pins Recreated: Plaid Button-Down
The third pin I recreated for you has been repinned nearly 150 thousand times. I don’t have a plaid button-down with the larger print like this one, but I like the colors in the one I chose. It’s a nice blend of blue, green, and pink. Instead of going with a dark top under the plaid like they did, I went with a blush pink one to brighten it up a bit. For the skinny jeans I chose I zippered pair from Old Navy. The earrings match the darker coral color in the plaid top perfectly, too!

Popular Fashion Pins Recreated: Gingham Shirt & Khakis
This preppy-looking outfit has been saved 24.4 thousand times. Navy and olive green look fantastic together, and adding the gold jewelry and the super-chic accessories definitely dresses up the look. I have a very similar navy gingham plaid button-down that I was able to use, but mine has a ruffled neckline. I have some chic olive green pants but they do not fit like the ones in the original. The pants I had are from BCBgeneration and are fitted through the thigh but end with a wide leg. I do however have a pair of mint green pants that fit very similarly to the ones she’s wearing in the photo! They’ll also be linked below.

Popular Fashion Pins Recreated: Navy Chevron Maxi Skirt
The last outfit I recreated for you has over 130 thousand saves. Their version of the outfit is pretty summer-ish, so I adapted mine a little since we’ll be talking Fall here soon. I have a very similar navy, chevron-print maxi skirt for sale that I was able to use. I don’t have any plain white tank tops, so I used this gorgeous white tank from Banana Republic that has lace on the neckline. You could absolutely wear these two pieces by themselves now, but for Fall I added a trendy denim jacket to keep your arms warm!

So…do you have a favorite outfit of those I’ve recreated? Mine would have to be the long open cardigan outfit! That’s pretty similar to how I dress in Fall and Winter. I’d love to hear from you! Comment below
