Happy Wednesday! What a week I’ve had since last week’s post! I covered Kansas City Fashion Week three nights in a row, one of which was my birthday. My business has also been crazy the last few days (in a great way!) so I’m exhausted! You’re all worth it, though! <3 In last week's post I talked about the new CoverGirl Katy Kat Pearl makeup that I had just gotten from CoverGirl. I’m going into more detail about one item today: Katy Kat Pearl Shadow + Highlighter! Also, some really great jewelry I got from an Etsy seller! Let’s begin…
What I’m Loving!
CoverGirl Katy Kat Pearl Shadow + Highlighter
Guys, this is possibly my new favorite product. Well maybe not my favorite, but you get the picture. Its amazing. The NEW CoverGirl Katy Kat Pearl Shadow + Highlighter is a glass pot of a mousse-y, creamy color that can be used as both an eye shadow and a highlighter. I used it as eye shadow on Tuesday night and Wednesday night, then as both on Thursday. That photo is below. The color I received was Tiger Rose and it really compliments my brown eyes!
The creaminess of the Shadow + Highlighter feels fantastic. Also, a little goes a long way! That part makes me super happy. 🙂 This retails for $7.99-$8.99 and I totally think its worth it!
Jewelry From L.Alexandra Designs
I came across L.Alexandra Designs on Instagram and thought she had the cutest, minimalist jewelry! She sent me three pieces and I’m in love!
I received one of L.Alexandra Designs’ new circle necklaces and have worn it several times since I got it. It’s so chic! I even wore it with the circle off to one side on Sunday and thought it looked really cool. You can pick yourself one up here for just $22!
Lauren also sent me two beaded bracelets. One bracelet, the Turquoise Wrap Bracelet, is one single strand, but it’s long enough to wrap it around your wrist twice. You can also wear it as a necklace! (LOVE dual-purpose jewelry!) It’s also available in coral and black (coming soon!), and you can choose between silver and gold accent beads. Yep…they’re slightly customizable! Lauren rocks!
The last piece I got was a beautiful, dainty black and silver beaded bracelet. This was the perfect bracelet to wear with my all-black outfit for Wednesday night’s Kansas City Fashion Week show! The contrast between the black and silver beads is beautiful. And for $12, it’s a steal!
That’s all I’ve got for ya this week! Check back soon for my recap of KCFW!
