We’re already almost half-way through April!!! How in the world is this possible?! So crazy how fast this year is going. On the bright side…spring is finally here! And that means Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is finally back open!
What I’m Loving
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is one of our favorite places to visit and have play dates during the spring and summer. It opens on April 1 every year and it finally stopped raining long enough for Kade and me to be able to go for the first time this year! Deanna Rose is an amazing petting zoo that’s laid out like a real farmstead and small town with a “Main Street”. You can see cows being milked, bottle-feed baby goats, take a hay ride, ride a pony, hand-feed adult goats, and much more! Our favorite activity is bottle-feeding the baby goats. They are so adorable and it’s a lot of fun! We also love getting salt water taffy from the General Store and hand-scooped ice cream from the parlor.
Deanna Rose is just $2/person from 9am to 2pm Monday through Thursday and all day Friday-Sunday. Visitors get in free after 2pm Monday through Thursday! You can see the other fees by visiting their website here.
What I’m Excited About
My husband got last-minute Royals tickets for tonight’s game against the Oakland A’s!!! Rider hasn’t been since he was really little, and Kade has never been! They’re so excited to go and I am, too!
What is something that you always look forward to when spring rolls around? I’d love to hear your faves below!
