If you haven’t noticed, Spring colors are no longer just worn in Spring! I mean, blush pink has had its own “celeb status” the last couple of years! So, do you have a lot of light colors in your wardrobe? Don’t fret! Here’s how to transition pastels into Fall!
How To Transition Pastels into Fall : Pastel Sweaters
Let’s start off easy, shall we? Blush pink has been an absolute must-have color the last few years, so I’m guessing you have at least a little in your closet! As much as I personally love the color, I’ve gotta say I love that it’s a year-round color!
Giving that skinny jeans are still very much on-trend, I thought that pairing this blush pink sweater with a pair of darker-wash skinny jeans is a no-brainer. Adding a long trendy pendant necklace helps to dress the otherwise-casual sweater up a bit. Then you can add a fun pair of booties to complete this comfy fall look.
How To Transition Pastels into Fall : Just Add Booties
Similar to the last outfit, the pastel is in this surprisingly on-trend top. And…it even has flowers! Spring-like, yeah? Yep, but guess what…floral prints are very on-trend this season, too! (Yay!)
Like above, I simply added these chic AG Adriano Goldschmied “The Stevie” Slim Straight jeans and a pair of fringed booties. Even though this is a very Spring-like top, adding a pair of neutral boots with a style of their own helps to bring attention away from the top a bit and gives the whole outfit a more season-appropriate feel.
How To Transition Pastels into Fall : Add a Coordinating Cardigan

If you have a colorful, printed top like this sailboat print sleeveless blouse, you can easily transition it into Fall by adding a cardigan. Whether you have a colorful boyfriend cardigan like the one seen here, or a basic black open cardigan, this is about the easiest way to transition any piece into the new season. It breaks up the print a bit, gives that extra layer for more warmth, and gets you in fashion with always-trendy layers. Skinny corduroys are also a great Fall staple piece to add to your now-Fall look!
As for shoes, you can obviously never go wrong with booties, but for this look I’ve styled it with these NEW black faux suede wedges. The faux suede give these year-round shoes a chic Fall vibe.
What styles are you most looking forward to rocking this Fall? I’m 100% a Summer girl, but I do love cozy sweaters and trendy booties! Let me know your favorite Fall fashions down below!
Pairing any type of pastel with some darker jeans will be essential for me to keep wearing pastels. Almsot dont want summer to end but excited for scarf weather too haha.
