Hi, guys! Happy Cinco de Mayo! I didn’t get an “April Goals” post written for last month, but I had a great month! I made the most sales in one month’s time in April and I was SO excited about that! Hopefully that trend continues. 🙂 I’ve also made some great gains on Instagram. And lastly, I didn’t go running my 2-3 times per week the whole month of April, but I DID finally run a full 5K! I had to walk some, but I finished and it felt fantastic! Here are my May goals:
To come up with my goals for May, I took my yearly goals, subtracted the progress I’ve made, then divided by the number of months left in the year. Here’s what I came up with!
My sales goal for May is $1564. I sold a little over $1200 last month so I’m a lot more optimistic going into May than I would have been April! 🙂 I’m currently hosting a virtual “clearance” shopping party in an attempt to get rid of stuff I’ve had for a long time. When I first started out and was needing inventory, I would see a cheap item and grab it. Now I’m trying to be smart about what I’m choosing…items that are more likely to sell quickly because they’re really cute and on-trend.
If you haven’t noticed, my website also got a makeover recently! I’m hoping that the more-professional look will drive more sales.
Email Subscriber Goal
So I’ve kinda slacked off on the whole email list. I’m only at 124 and my goal for the end of May is 234. I have only made like 2 or 3 sales from sending an email so I’ve been focusing on my website, Facebook, and Instagram. If you are reading this and haven’t subscribed yet, you can do so super easily in that turquoise strip at the top of the page, or in the form below the post! 🙂
Instagram Follower Goal
Instagram has been growing quite a bit the last couple months!!! I started 2017 with 1850 followers and I started May with 2483! Not amazing progress, but pretty darn decent! The last few days have been pretty good and as of 10pm on 5/4 I’m at 2526! My goal for the end of May is 3423. It’s a long shot, but doable with a little work! Follow me here!
I’m keeping my goal of 2-3 runs per week. Since I’m going on longer runs now, toootally okay with 2. 🙂
So there you go…those are my goals for May. Do you have any set goals?! I’d love to hear what you’re working on below!
